Piping Stress Engineer - Pipe/Stress/Analysis 50-60 $/hr

Location: Aiken, SC, USA
Client located in the Aiken, SC area has an approximate 2 month contract opening for a Senior Pipe Stress Engineer proficient in the utilization of piping / pipe stress engineering theories and practices. Local candidates preferred although Mob / Demob and per diem are available for eligible candidates that are highly qualified. US Citizenship is required to be considered.

Responsibilities:

-> Perform pipe stress of piping systems in accordance with ASME, ANSI B31.3 code requirements using Caesar II software program
-> Analysis of nozzle loads / stress on vessels using WRC 107/297 capability of Caesar II program
-> Prepares engineering computations and analyses
-> Extracts engineering information from CAD drawings and computer models and able to coordinate the design of unique pipe supports as required
-> Provide technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters, Designers, and Engineers working on the same project
-> May be required to provide the seal and signature of the professional engineer, as appropriate, ensuring compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and ordinances

Requirements:

-> Proficiency in the use of the Caesar II software program, including specific application of static and dynamic analysis for seismic load conditions is needed
-> 4-year degree in Engineering (or related field)
-> 10-15 years of related work experience in the field of pipe / pipe stress design and analysis
-> Professional Engineer registration is preferred
-> Proficiency in utilizing PC software packages typically associated with engineering (MathCAD, MS-Office)
-> PDS, SmartPlant Review, and Microstation experience is a plus

• How many total years experience do you have working in the field of pipe - pipe stress and analysis? How recent? Do you have your PE license? What state(s)? Our client requires you to be eligible to work in the United States, what is your current work status?

• Are you proficient in the use of Caesar II software program, including specific application of static and dynamic analysis for seismic load conditions? Please explain.

• What experience will show your ability to perform pipe stress of piping systems in accordance with ASME, ANSI B31.3 code requirements using the Caesar II software program and to perform analysis of nozzle loads - stress on vessels using WRC 107-297 capability of Caesar II program?

• Where do you currently live? Will you require mob - demob and per diem if eligible?

• What is your current or most recent hourly rate of pay (please break down base, bonus, etc.)
