We currently seek a results-driven professional with significant achievements and experience in large-scale underground mines, to contribute to the development and realisation of our strategic plans for growth and reliability.
Reporting to the Manager Technical Services & Business Development, you will be involved in the development of the long term strategy for the optimal use of the coal reserves and resources. In addition, you will be responsible for the development, evaluation and optimisation of medium and long term mine plans, providing XPAC technical advice to site planners and assisting with the monthly production forecast process and the annual budget process.
Qualified as a Mining Engineer, you will have a high level of competency in XPAC and be experienced in the use of modelling tools. Demonstrated planning skills, and business acumen in previous underground mining roles is essential.
