ELECTRICIAN - North Plant


METALLOYS - MEYERTON, VAAL TRIANGLE, GAUTENG


Ensuring compliance with BHP Billiton’s commitment to Zero Harm, you will be part of a high performance team where teamwork and a strong drive for safety awareness will be necessary to be successful in this position. Your role will be to safely execute maintenance work according to prescribed standards as cost effectively as possible. As the successful candidate you will be responsible for maintenance, fault finding on HT and LT switchgear and identifying unsafe situations, equipment and conditions while taking the necessary corrective measures.

You will need to be in possession of a N2/N3 and a recognized Electrical Trade Certificate. Have 2 years experience in a heavy industrialized environment and experience of high tension up to and including 33kV. SAP knowledge would be advantageous.
