Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Introduction:

You will provide assurance that design, procurement, construction, installation, commissioning and handover activities are conducted in accordance with approved Project Management Plans, Corporate Policies and Procedures.

Key Accountabilities:

You will be responsible for:

* Monitoring the performance of contractors, sub contractors and suppliers to ensure the quality of purchase order packages/equipment meets basis of design, contract and specification requirements.
* Provide practical and appropriate quality assurance and support to ensure project technical integrity and quality objectives are achieved.
* Drive the resolution of quality related issues in support of technical integrity and project schedule requirements.
* Implement the requirements of the project quality management and verification plans to ensure project technical integrity and quality objectives are met.
* Lead/participate in selected major contractor and project management system audits both in office and on-site locations.
* Promote awareness of assurance and quality processes and activities to project team members.
* Coordinate the development and implementation of quality related activities and ensure they are well defined, planned and completed in a timely manner.
* Develop, monitor and update audit and review schedules.
* Ensure quality control surveillance, expediting activities, validation and marine warranty surveys are clearly defined and well managed.
* Provide input to and where required liaise with Regulators and Validators on offshore project submissions, approvals and validation scope.
* Provide mentoring to less experienced engineers.

Working as a key member of a project team, the Senior Quality Assurance Engineer will have responsibility for the identification, planning and implementation of project quality activities and deliverables.

The ideal candidate will possess a tertiary qualification with at least 10 years experience in quality assurance. Experience in the offshore and/or onshore Oil & Gas industry is preferred.
