Well Engineering Solutions Architect

Our London based client requires a Domain Solutions Architect to join their global IT and Technology organisations. This position will play a key role in shaping the design of business solutions to deliver strategic value to the global business.

The Solutions Architect will work closely with business solution development teams in Global IT&T and with business stakeholders, to provide inputs to solution designs so that all business solutions developed within Global IT&T or sourced externally benefit from and comply with the Global IT&T Architecture blueprints. And implement those designs.

Key Accountabilities:
- Development of solutions blueprints (Both high level and detailed)
- Adherence to Enterprise / Solution architecture policy and standards
- Planning and execution of the delivery of solutions for the business programmes / projects, to a required budget, time and quality
- Ensure HSSE for all Architecture activities is managed effectively.

Skills and Experience Requirements:
- Experience in the definition of the architecture for business solutions in the Oil and Gas industry

Education:
- Professional knowledge in Solution Architecture, supported by professional accreditation is preferred

Candidates should have the following specific skills for this role:
- Understanding of industry best practice for Solutions Architecture
- Understanding of key business processes in the Oil and Gas industry such in Exploration and Production, Transmission and Distribution, LNG, etc.

Candidates must also have specific experience within well engineering applications - Landmark, Schlumberger, Kongsberg, iWit, Well view etc.
