Job description• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key contractors to ensure best service, commercial terms, and surety of services
• Support and coaching contracts personnel
• Ensure ‘best value ‘ achieved by competitive tendering, effective negotiation and contract structure
• Accurately quantify, classify and record Supply savings in Benefits Capture System (BCS)
• Align contractual, commercial and risk guidelines and approval policies to ensure effective governance
• Internal/ external benchmarking activities to achieve continuous performance improvement (HSEC, QA, Cost, Schedule etc.)
• Awareness of Drilling operational activities and ensuring that the contracts team is working closely with Contract Sponsors/Business Users and other functions to ensure contracting processes are implemented in timely fashion to meet business requirements
Requirements• University Degree (Commerce) or equivalent
• 10 + years experience in major oil & gas operations specifically in contract management.
• Candidates with drilling contracts experience will be favoured
The immediacy of this role means that candidates with Australian work rights will be preferred.
