In this current global climate it is with pleasure to announce a role with this international Coal Seam Gas operator. They are showing no signs of uncertainty as a global petroleum company have just invested $915M into their upstream operations. With this latest investment, they are now moving forward with the next stage of its strategic growth. This methane producer is now successfully operating throughout China, India and regional Queensland.

The immediate focus is to secure a senior geologist for their up coming operations in their Dalby office. You will be reporting to the Exploration General Manger whilst ensuring that the coordination of the rigs and that the staff continues to work in a safe environment. You will also focus on delivering the drilling program and managing the drilling contractors on site. With your extensive operational background in exploration for methane gas, you will be equipped to manage the field developments.

What will be required from you:
A proven background in an oil and gas operator whilst focusing on exploration programsTo live in driving distance to Dalby and travel to the project sites when requiredTo have the ability to build a strong dedicated geology team around youA degree in geology & a thorough understanding of coal seam gas
