GeoExperts is looking for exceptional geologist to play a leading technical role within the Regional Americas Team for a leading US oil company. The team is tasked with providing the regional basinal framework in support of business units working within the Americas. The team assists both in the management of current assets and the acquisition of new assets.
Position Type:Full Time
Travel Required:10% of the time (approximate)
Starts On:1-Oct-09
Experience
Must have at least 15 years of applicable experience. Must have a track record of basin evaluation, preferably on a global scale. Must have experience in the rapid screening, evaluation and rating of new venture opportunities.
Skills
Must have an excellent understanding of the concepts of basin evolution, depositional environments and play fairways. Must have good skills in play and prospect risking and reserve estimation. Must have excellent communication skills and be a team player
Computer Skills
Must have good workstation skills.
Education Required:BS Geology
