Piping Designer - Piping/PDS/Microstation 50-55 $/hr

Location: Aiken, SC, USA
Client located in the Aiken, SC area has an approximate 6 to 9 month contract opening for a Piping Designer that is proficient with PDS Piping Design. Local candidates or those able to relocate on their as there is no mobilization or per diem available. US Citizenship is required.

Responsibilities:

-> Complete complex and difficult designs and layouts for complete piping systems and components of a project
-> Performs front-end layout and design
-> Ensure compliance with required specifications, tolerances, safety factors, client requirements, industry codes, etc
-> Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate

Requirements:

-> 2-year technical degree or certificate of completion from an accredited designer/drafter course (or equivalent) preferred
-> 10+ years of relevant experience
-> Proficient with PDS Piping Design, Drawing Manager, Orthogen, Isogen, and MicroStation
-> Any D.O.E. ( Department of Energy ) or Nuclear project experience is a plus

• How many total years experience do you have working as a Piping Designer? Our client requires you to be eligible to work in the United States, what is your current work status?

• Please give a brief description that will demonstrate your ability to complete complex and difficult designs and layouts for complete piping systems and components of a project? Do you have any DOE or nuclear projects experience? Please explain if yes.

• What experience will show your proficiency with PDS Piping Design, Drawing Manager, Orthogen, Isogen, and MicroStation? Please rate your skill level with each.

• Where do you currently live and how quickly are you available to start work if selected? If not local are you able to relocate on your own?

• What is your current or most recent hourly rate of pay (please break down base, bonus, etc.) and what is your desired rate of pay for this position?
