Excellent opportunity for a PRODUCT MANAGER experience with oilfield products and services for a well-respected firm in Houston, TX. Travel up to 30% both domestic and international.
Responsibilities:
-> Manage providing oil field services and related products developing and implementing market strategy
-> Identify and oversee development of new technical products and lead design reviews
-> Interface with internal engineering, sales, team, clients, and senior management
-> Manage staff of four technical professionals
-> Prepare, manage, and report on department forecasts, budgets, and margins
Requirements:
-> BS Degree in Engineering. A PLUS to have a MBA
-> Requires 10+ years of experience in oilfield services and knowledge of oil field technical requirements including downstream and downhole as well as experience in product marketing, development and/or manufacturing
-> Need 5 years experience and solid working knowledge of controls and control systems
-> Financial analysis skills inclduing budgets, P&L, margin and ROI analysis
-> A PLUS to have working ability with Spanish, Portuguese, French, or Italian
-> Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
