A leading control systems retrofit company is seeking a Bi-Lingual Project Manager with Mechanical Process experience to work at their Eastern, NY location. The qualified candidate MUST be fluent in Portuguese language to discuss technical aspects of projects with client. Position is Long Term Contract.
Responsibilities:
-> Manage assigned projects to fulfill contract commitments of technical requirements, cost and schedule
-> Contract scope may include control system upgrades and mechanical equipment for gas and steam turbines
-> Communicate and negotiate with customers and internal ICS team members
-> Establish task schedules and goals for project progress
-> Coordinate material ordering and delivery
-> Monitor and control project cost
Requirements:
-> MUST be fluent in Portuguese and able to discuss technical details with client
-> A Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineer or related engineering field
-> Minimum of five (5) years experience managing gas/steam turbine, maritime or industrial projects
-> Excellent planning and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects
-> Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with experience in problem analysis, resolution and team building
-> Experience with piping systems and electrical system design
-> Some international travel may be required to project site
