Position Overview:

As a member of the Geology Group at this world-class gold deposit, you will work in a production team environment to facilitate optimal production and recovery of gold ore from the underground resource. You will generate, implement, and complete multiple work assignments in a dynamic environment independently and with others. The successful candidate will provide underground production geologic services in a dynamic team environment. This includes underground mapping and sampling, monitoring of mining activities, and work to define possible exploration and mine expansion targets

Experience & Requirements:

• Proven safe work record required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Geological Technician Diploma required.
• One to three years of underground mapping preferred.
• Underground experience including Alimak Raise Mining preferred.
• Experience with Vulcan software preferred.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office) required.
• Experience with CAD or other mining software will be considered an asset.
• Strong written and verbal communication, computing, planning, and problem solving skills required.
• Ability to successfully obtain background clearance required.
