THE ROLE
CCL has been requested by a leading Oil & Gas Energy company to provide Russian Speaking Drilling Engineers. Based in Tripoli, Libya, on 1 year (renewable) contract. 4/4 or 5/5 BtB rotation. Will be required to travel as required. T&Cs negotiable. Excellent internationally competitive daily rate.
THE PERSON
Minimum 10 years experience in Drilling Engineering. Established track record. Remote operations and day to day involvement of well construction ensuring a safe and efficient performance. Perform tasks in line with HSE, PSCM and OMS guidelines. Daily operations following drilling programme, well design, policy and regulations. Forecasting, tracking and control of drilling costs. Approval of the Drilling Programme and identification of contingency plans to be worked. Assurance of the BtB Common Process in well delivery. Operate Technical Limit Programme. Operations and QA / QC assurance. Operate drilling logistics support and back-up / contingency equipment and service contractors support. Integrity of drilling operations. Water well delivery plan.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Ideal candidate will have a degree in relevant subject or other qualifications / experience. IWCF combined well control, UKOOA Medical, Fire Fighting and Survival Certification. Excellent communication and presentation skills including fluent written and spoken English. Knowledge of Arabic a plus. Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a multi-cultural environment and demonstrate effective organisational skills. Must be fluent in Russian.
