Supervisor - Pipeline /Integrity/Corrosion Control 55-70 K/yr

Natural Gas Pipeline operator has immediate need for a Supervisor System Integrity (Corrosion Control) at its South Central North Carolina location to oversee all aspects of the System Integrity for an extensive pipeline.

Responsibilities:

-> Manage the cathodic protection systems for 2600 miles of steel transmission and 9200 miles of steel distribution pipelines
-> Implement plans developed by Cathodic Protection Specialist
-> Coordinate the implementation, execution, and documentation of work required by Corrosion Control and Pipeline Integrity Programs
-> Provide direct supervision and technical support of in-house technicians to ensure compliance with State regulations and company policies and procedures
-> Support Pipeline Integrity in performing inspections and coordinating with contractors

Requirements:

-> Must be NACE certified CP Level II (must attain CP Tester NACE certification Level III within one year of hiring)
-> Must have minimum 7 years experience in pipeline corrosion control
-> Must have a High School diploma (Associates degree in Electronics preferred)
-> Familiarity with GIS and ability to operate GPS equipment
-> Experience managing technicians and contractors
-> Nondestructive testing (NDT) certification strongly desired
-> Must be able to work in adverse conditions, walk long distances over uneven terrain, climb ladders, lift 50 lbs
