TEKsystems has partnered with a top 5 government integrator in their efforts to identify a GIS Developer with work experience in the OIL AND GAS INDUSTRY (this is a must have). This individual has to be able to obtain at least a DOD (Department of Defense) Secret Clearance. This opportunity is an immediate need and will be based in Chantilly, Virginia but travel is required. This is a 6 month contract to hire opportunity and compensation will be determined upon a performance based interview with TEKsystems and our client.
Qualifications:
5+ years experience in GIS Development
Experience in:
- GIS Desktop and GIS Server (server would be nice)
- GIS development/architecture
- GIS data creation/conflation
- Business Development
- GIS with respect to Oil/Gas
- Willing to travel between Houston/Calgary/Chantilly (probably 50% for the first couple of months)
**Because this position is in direct support of the US Government, the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance is required.**
