BMA Broadmeadow Mine is a punch Longwall underground coal mine, located 190km south west of Mackay, and the Whitsunday Coast. Broadmeadow Mine has the capacity to produce over 3 mtpa of high quality coking coal. At Broadmeadow our core value is to achieve Zero Harm and world class performance which will further enhance BMA’s competitiveness in the international coking coal market.

We are seeking applicants for Maintenance Electrical Technician vacancies within the Longwall Team. These positions will be responsible for the contribution and continuous improvement towards the effective and successful running of the longwall face and associated outbye and surface operations.

To be successful in this role you will require an Electrical, Trade or Engineering Degree, have post trade / degree training in electrical / electronic courses and have practical site experience. You also will need to have a strong understanding of PLC workings and electrical maintenance systems.
