Petrobank Strength In Our Resources Whitesands A Petrobank Company POSITION: OPERATIONS TECHNOLOGIST FULL-TIME Based at our Whitesands Conklin Facility the successful candidate will be required to support our Conklin Pilot, Kerrobert Facility, May River Commercial Plant and future plant developments. Travel will be expected to the various operations as well as regular trips to the Calgary Office. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO: • Day to day oil production and quality from the well head to the sales tanks • Liaise and work with the treater chemical vendors ensuring the treater can regularly produce pipeline spec oil • Ensure quality of sales products are maintained to receiver’s point of custody • Assist Production Accounting to ensure all reportable volumes are correct and reported on time • Support the Operations and Maintenance groups to troubleshoot plant problems • Provide solutions to problems identified through your work or others at the plant QUALIFICATIONS: • Process Engineering Technology Certificate, or equivalent, from a recognized institution • Be eligible for registration as a Certified Engineering Technologist with ASET • Minimum of 5 years experience in Heavy Oil or Bitumen production, Treater Operation • A valid class 5 drivers license THE IDEAL CANDIDATE FOR THIS POSITION WILL HAVE: • A Second or First Class Power Engineer with applicable experience
