Operations Geologist needed for a full-time employment opportunity with a large oil and gas company in north Houston, TX. The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in geology and a minimum of eight years industry experience. Responsibilities include coordinating with G&G, drilling, and petrophysicist to ensure effective evaluation strategies, utilizing knowledge of the complete prospect maturation process from proposal to well completion; writing requests for quotes for all geological services tailoring each RFQ for the specific needs of the project; negotiating performance and malice clause for various contracts and/or compensation for lost time. Additional responsibilities include creating pre-drill data packages for distribution to drilling, corporate management, partners, and government ministries and creating wellsite geologists manual for each well.
