Basic Purpose
1. Ensure high quality facilities are delivered to GOM PU that meets business plans.
2. Provide facilities engineering support to GOM PU; performance measured by achievements in HSE, reliability and cost effectiveness.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
* Process optimisation of the Neptune and Shenzi K developments
* Involvement in HUC and Start-up of Shenzi facilities to ensure quality and performance of facilities delivered to GOM PU satisfy GOM PU business plans.
* Manage systems and processes to achieve technical integrity.
* Ensure information and knowledge transfer plans are in place to capture facilities engineering information necessary for effective operation of facilities through their operating life.
* Provide technical support to the PU team to ensure the delivery of exceptional reliability and cost effective operational and maintenance performance.
* Work with other members of GOM PU engineering team on integrated Lifecycle Plans as required.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Pre-Facilities Start-up:
Work with Shenzi Project Delivery Team to ensure facilities are adequately designed, constructed, commissioned, safely started up, and efficiently turned over to operations.
Producing Facilities:
Develop and maintain systems and tactics that ensure equipment/system performance meets or exceeds the required standards.
Support/lead HSE risk assessments, HAZARD evaluations and HAZOP’s of ongoing operations and facilities change requirements
Manage system performance surveillance programs for deepwater flow assurance and topsides processes.
Implement root cause analysis and business excellence processes to deliver continuous performance improvement in facilities reliability.
Develop comprehensive business case for all engineering related expenditure, defining costs, benefits, risks and execution schedule.
Support chemical contract management and optimisation

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Degree in Chemical/Process Engineering, working towards accreditation by a recognized body (e.g. Professional Engineer/Chartered).
3-5 years experience in the oil and gas industry. To include:
Processing and offshore operations
Implementation of HSEC management systems associated with the engineering discipline
Management of change concept development through to implementation/operation
Demonstrated planning skills
Applicable engineering standards and guidance
Relevant national and local government rules and regulations
English language communication skills
