Inlec Maintenance Technician

With a steady flow of new and exciting opportunities provided by our pipeline of world-class liquefied natural gas projects, we currently have positions available for experience Maintenance Technicians.

You will be accountable for maintaining instrument and electrical equipment associated with the extraction, processing and export of hydrocarbon products. These include DCS control systems, PLC based process monitoring and shutdown systems, fire and gas systems, gas turbine controls, field mounted instrumentation, power generation and reticulation and maintaining equipment to EEHA standards.

Other Accountabilities:

* Responsible for maintaining working area in a safe manner.
* Responsible for following Maintenance business process.
* Responsible for collecting permits pertaining to work.
* Responsible for working as an active team members to ensure the maintenance efficiencies are maximised for the area.
* Responsible for defined Area Maintenance compliance with HSE standards including performing Job Hazard Analysis prior to work commencing.
* Responsible for ensuring work order operations are executed to plan.
* Responsible for carrying out unexpected Management of Change activities by following due process.
* Responsible for return of all unused and repairable items to warehouse.

Qualifications, skills and experience:

* Suitable applicants will possess a Cert IV (Instrument / Electrical) and an 'A' grade Electrical Licence.
* Experience in a similar industry.
* Good understanding of and commitment to safety principles and procedures.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Drive to identify opportunities for improvement in work or maintenance practices.
* Good verbal and written communication skills.
* Capability to operate maintenance systems.
* Formal EEHA and HV qualifications or post trade studies will be viewed favourably.

These positions are based in Karratha in the heart of our operation. We can offer successful candidates Karratha residential or fly in fly out arrangements.
