The Facility Engineer within the Production Engineering Function in Woodside provides engineering support to ensure facilities to achieve safe, efficient and optimum operation.
The Facility Engineering team is a multidisciplinary team and the Engineer becomes the single point of accountability for their core discipline. You will be responsible in providing support to control and instrument systems with emphasis on field instrumentation, process control systems (including Advanced Process Control), fire and gas systems, emergency shutdown systems, analysers and general Inlec systems associated with high pressure oil and gas facilities. Experience at a tactical and/or strategic level in the maintenance of this equipment will be strongly considered and recognised.
You will have the opportunity to demonstrate your ability to excel by delivering on the key accountabilities of this role, some of which are listed below.
* Manage the integrity of the facility through maintenance, inspection and engineering change control.
* Provide input to/and oversee the reactive and preventative maintenance programs to ensure maximum facility uptime.
* Ensure appropriate advice is given and that standards, procedures and specifications are complied with.
* Direct input to opportunity management, reliability and continuous improvement of existing systems that will also involve interfacing with project groups.

Tertiary Qualification in Instrument, Controls or Electrical Engineering with significant previous experience in a similar role.

Demonstrated experience at a technical engineering level within the oil and gas or related industry.

Leadership and teamwork ability to work in the Woodside integrated organization

Ability to demonstrate strong business focus, flexibility and a committed attitude to safety.
