Well Integrity Engineer

Location: UK
Well Integrity Engineer required for operator in Aberdeen. To start ASAP, candidates will be considered on either a staff basis or long term contract. Ideal candidates should be a graduate with a reasonable level of experience working for operator or service company.

Responsibilities:

- Manage integrity maintenance and monitoring of platform and subsea wells
- Work with Well Engineers, Subsurface and Operations Teams to investigate and resolve failures of well components
- Report maintenance, testing and monitoring using existing processes and look for improvement
- Plan and budget
- Visit offshore locations assessing technical work and briefing operations teams regarding well integrity issues

Requirements:

- Ideally knowledge/experience one of the following:
o Familiarity with wellhead, xmas tree and well completion equipment and design OR
o Familiarity with well construction and intervention activities OR
o Understanding of maintenance management processes
- Skills in collation, analysis and interpretation of technical information
- Willingness to work with and learn from an experienced team
- Understand regulations and standards and the effective management of risk
