Aerotek is currently seeking experienced individuals for an Environmental Technician position available with a company in the oil and refinery industry located in Reno, NV.
Candidates will be required to set-up and operate the pilot plant's equipment, such as scrub machines, assist research engineers with data collection as well as handle chemicals if needed.
Requirements:
- experience operating equipment, preferably in a laboratory environment
- computer literate
- experience handling, storing and disposing of chemicals
- trained in safety regulations (OSHA certified a plus)
- mechanically inclined
- experience testing concrete ideal
This is a long-term, full-time opportunity on first shift from 8am to 5pm. It pays $14 to $17 per hour DOE and offers benefits as well as growth potential.
