THE ROLE
CCL has been requested by a leading Oil & Gas Energy company to provide an OGS Test Pack Engineer. Contract duration 1 year (renewable) on a 28/28 rotational basis. Visits to other company facilities when required. Excellent rates negotiable for the right candidate.
THE PERSON
Minimum 5 years experience in onshore O&G projects. Efficiently check the engineering documentation included in the pressure test packages and to supervise and support the onshore pressure test activities. Ensure that all aspects related to piping engineering and construction have been successfully achieved prior to pressure test. Experience in design, installation and operation of facilities, with stringent requirements in terms of HSE. Responsible for ensuring HSE reviews are undertaken / identified actions completed. Checking correct preparation of piping pressure test dossiers by Execution Contractor according documents listed in test packs management procedures. Checking the last revision of engineering documents have been included in the pressure test packages. Previous experience at similar role especially in piping engineering and piping pressure test activities will be a preference.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Degree in Engineering discipline. Ensure timely completion of piping pressure test activities to the specified standards and specifications. Knowledge of computer based engineering technical tools, AutoCAD, Excel, Access, Word, Project or equivalent. Checking conformity between the P&ID, isometric drawings and line lists included in the piping pressure test packages, highlighting problems to the Engineering Department. Fluent written and spoken English is essential.
