THE ROLE
A major international oil and gas operating company has requested CCL to provide a Wells Subsea Supervisor to work on a major overseas oil producing project. 28/28 rotation. Daily rate will be internationally competitive and is dependent on experience and qualifications. Must be willing to travel as required by Client. Longer term prospects have opportunity to work on Rig as well as Vessel in order to extend experience / enhance knowledge / understanding with a view to onshore overseas subsea engineering assignment. Potential to extend experience within organization through other Subsea areas such as Projects and Operations.
THE PERSON
Will exhibit necessary skill set to take Lead for Offshore Vessel operations including preparation of subsea / related equipment. Proven ability to organise / supervise offshore installation activity including overseeing third party service personnel / equipment preparation. Subsea installation / construction activity involving marine experience, including a working knowledge of subsea systems, subsea trees, workover / intervention systems, ROV interfaces, etc. Familiarity with DP Vessel operations / guidelineless technology. Knowledge of jumper installation, survey techniques, ROV operations, etc. Proven ability to report and communicate instructions both verbally and written.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Degree in a relevant engineering discipline. Must hold a Current Offshore Survival & Medical Certificates. Ability to work efficiently, demonstrate effective organisational skills, ability to handle multiple tasks, strong communication and presentation skills. Fluent written and spoken English is essential.
