THE ROLE
CCL has been requested by a leading Oil & Gas Energy company to provide a Structural / Architectural Engineer for a position based in Stavanger. Occasional travel to other project locations and Kazakhstan. Contract duration one year (renewable). Position is residential 5/2. Excellent daily rates.
THE PERSON
At least 10 years of structural design, installation, and hook-up experience in offshore oil and gas production and / or gas processing projects. Experience of Design and Construction in the Architectural field including a knowledge of painting, insulation and fireproofing disciplines. Experience on hook-up design of large integrated multiple modules projects involving shop drawings, job cards, and mechanical completion package preparation and verification is essential.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Degree in Structural Engineering. Current Offshore survival certificate. Membership of an Engineering Institute i.e. Chartered Engineer. Demonstrated knowledge and ability to utilise current structural software, design tools and design standards and codes. Demonstrated ability to work productively within multi-discipline, culturally diverse team environment, with company, contractors, partners, and government agencies. Fluent in written and spoken English. Norwegian / Russian / Kazakh would be an advantage.
