Pipeline Risk Engineer

POSITION DESCRIPTION: Provide assistance and recommendation in terms of risk assessment to pipelines design, operation, maintenance and inspection method & frequency. Perform pipelines risk studies and cost benefit analysis to promote reliability, safety and integrity of Saudi Aramco pipelines network. Initiate and prepare risk tolerability criteria considering threats and their consequences; as well as, advice on optimum cost benefit analysis for mitigation measures.

SELECTION CRITERIA: 15 years of professional experience in oil and gas industry focusing on pipelines. Education: BS degree in engineering or higher, preferably in mechanical or chemical engineering, from a reputable university. Firm practiced experience in pipelines risk assessment & mitigation, hydraulic & stress analysis, piping calculations (fitness for service, feature assessment, direct/indirect assessment), DOT regulation and related worldwide standards (ASME, API, NACE and DNV). Firm practiced experience in pipelines integrity management electronic applications (GIS platform).
