Our client, a major Oil & Gas operating company is presently looking to hire a Contracts Engineer to join it's team in Doha, State of Qatar. The successful candidate will have the following accountabilities;
� To ensure that the procurement process complies with the Company�s Business Principles, Procurement Procedures, Manual of Authorities and all applicable laws; feedback any non-compliances to direct supervisor.
� To prepare and maintain a contract activity plan with Contract Holders for assigned activities; these plans will address all pre-award, post award issues (including performance reviews & close-out).
� To maintain transparent relationships with suppliers of goods and services and recognize opportunities for further development.
� To develop tender and contractual documents, ensuring that expert advice is obtained, prior to issue, from specialist departments, e.g. legal, Insurance, treasury, taxation and HR.
� To ensure availability of an audit trail of all key documents in line with the CPPM and all data being fully entered in SAP; to provide the required management information for review and monitoring of contracting performance.
� To be aware of Contracting & Procurement networks across the affiliates and the industry to share learning and to exploit leverage wherever possible. Represent the Company in external CP matters, as required.
