Safety and Risk Engineer - Oil & Gas Projects Australia (for residents)
This specialist engineering consultancy provides quality EPCM services to some of the world’s largest oil and gas companies. They are world renowned for their Brownfield's projects, shutdowns and maintenance operations.
They are looking for a Safety and Risk Engineer to join their team.
Duties and responsibilities will include:
Hazard identification, risk assessment and quantification
Participation in Safety & design Reviews and Hazard and Operability
Studies
Reviewing Safety Engineering requirements for specific projects
Developing risk and consequence models for hydrocarbon production and processing plants (offshore and onshore)
To be considered for this position it is essential that you have the following skills and experience:
Tertiary engineering qualifications
5+ years experience in a safety and risk engineering position working on offshore oil and gas projects
A proven understanding of safety case regulations and legislative requirements
Demonstrated experience in technical audits, hazard identification, risk assessment qualification, mitigation and techniques
Candidates must also be willing to undergo the HUET course and obtain MSIC as travel offshore will be required.
