Petrophysicist - Petroleum Engineering Consultant Position Description: Possesses expert knowledge of openhole, LWD and production log applications in petrophysics to conduct comprehensive formation and reservoir evaluation. Must be proficient in the analyses and interpretations of NMR, C/O and image logs. Apply emerging logging tool and innovative soft computing technologies (fuzzy logic, artificial neural networks, etc.) for analyses of shaly sands, low resistivity pay and tight gas sands. Experience in integration of core analysis and log data to develop saturation, lithology, and permeability models is desired. Minimum Requirement: MS or PhD in Petroleum Engineering or related discipline; 15+ years of petroleum industry experience with 10 years intensive experience in petrophysics.
