Location: Saudi Arabia MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Education: B.S. Electrical Engineering. EXPERIENCE: Nine (9) years, preferably in a refinery, and/or oil and gas industry or similar process industry, such that the incumbent is clearly recognized as an expert. Must have a thorough knowledge of engineering practices and economic principles, calculation methods, design details, U.S. and Aramco's Codes, Standards and Specifications and be familiar with engineering, procurement, and construction practices.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Formally designs or studies electrical modifications to to oil processing and oil handling facilities, residences, and utilities. Occasionally called upon to design electrical aspects of new facilities of the type mentioned. Directs capital project from inception to completion throughout all execution phases including preliminary engineering, project proposal, detailed engineering, procurement, construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning. Major activities include the following: Preparation of project proposal and ER estimate. Preparation of contracts for detail engineering procurement and construction of capital projects. Lead Saudi Aramco Project Management Team (SAPMT) throughout all phases of project execution. Monitor and control project scope, cost and schedule. Liaise with project proponent, licensors, vendors, consultants and various Saudi Aramco departments. Application of relevant Saudi Aramco and industry standards and specifications to the project.
