About the Job
Chief Oil & Gas LLC is an independent oil and gas company with corporate offices in Dallas. Our company is engaged in exploration, development and production of unconventional shale gas reserves primarily in the Marcellus Shale. This position will be located in our regional office in Wexford, PA. (Suburb of Pittsburgh) We are seeking an experienced drilling engineer with 10+ years of relevant experience. Expertise in horizontal drilling depths 8k to 12k and shale resource plays required. Will be responsible for 4-7 rigs in PA and WV as well as the supervision of all drilling foreman (employees and contractors). Will manage all aspects of drilling operations including managing costs, engineering, rig movement, etc. B.S. in Engineering (Petroleum, Chemical, Mechanical, Civil). Requires strong interpersonal skills with ability to effectively work within a multi-disciplinary team to achieve project related goals. Excellent communication skills to effectively disseminate planning process and results of drilling plans. Ability to work independently, self- motivated. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
