Rotating Equipment Engineer
Initially Perth based

This is your opportunity to be part of Woodside's LNG Development function which is growing due to an expanded mandate and work scope. A Mechanical Engineer by discipline, you will be accountable for supporting several activities of LNG development across multiple opportunities.

The primary objective of the role is to work closely with the Principal Rotating Equipment Engineer in managing the engineering efforts related to rotating mechanical equipment for several LNG Plants. In doing so you will participate in the conceptualisation and development of world class LNG facilities, and the creation and maintenance of engineering specifications, standards and procedures related to this type of equipment. Other responsibilities will include writing and reviewing BODs for various LNG plants, liaison with equipment manufacturers and organising interdisciplinary coordination efforts. In addition, this role provides exposure to the existing LNG facilities of Woodside to provide operational support.

It is expected that you will have approximately five years of quality industry experience, preferably gained within an EPCM/ Engineering organisation performing design and trouble shooting roles. This position will appeal to those who are seeking mentoring and professional development with the view to moving in to a senior role capable of independently executing the Rotating Equipment related functions for Woodside's LNG plants. The successful incumbent is expected to eventually participate in commissioning and operational support roles while being stationed at site.
