About the Job
This position is not located in the Houston area and requires relocation.
Our client company is a major petroleum Refiner with multiple refineries throughout the US is increasing capacity at each facility and undergoing plant process optimization. They are currently looking to hire a couple of Maintenance Technicians for one of their refineries. The hired individuals will plan, conduct and document fixed equipment examinations for the purpose of maintaining mechanical integrity and operating reliability.
Job Duties:
• Relevant experience in conducting examinations on refinery equipment
• Hold current API 570 and API 510 certifications as well as working knowledge of NDE methods. Additional certifications a plus.
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in directing and supervising contract inspection organization activities
• Skilled in performing vendor shop fabrication and quality control audits for specification conformance
• Experience with industry organization and standards
• Working knowledge of industry risk assessment procedures
• Occasional travel required
KILLS & REQUIREMENTES
• AS degree in a technical field plus API 510 and 570 certifications.
• 5-10 years experience in downstream refining industry
Compensation is very competitive (DOE). These are full-time positions eligible for benefits.
