Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise and carry out maintenance activities so as to ensure the safe and efficient functioning of all plant and machinery, including machinery and equipment related to the Maintenance and Catering Departments, and emergency equipment.
Principle Functions of the Position:
Supervise and carry out maintenance activities in accordance with the Planned Maintenance System, ensuring.
All maintenance and maintenance related activities are carried out to the highest standards;
All test and inspection routines required by the Planned Maintenance System are completed;
Proper records are maintained.
Maximize the availability of plant and equipment and optimize control of spares.
Effect the repair of plant and machinery after failure.
Ensure that instructions given by the Maintenance Superintendent are executed and that they are kept informed of progress in all work under their supervision, including the status of spare parts, stores and consumables, and repairs.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
Safety Critical Functions
Ensure the safe and efficient functioning of emergency plant, equipment and machinery.
Manage the maintenance and records of safety critical elements.
Experience Factors
Minimum 5 years offshore experience.
Previous experience with responsibility for maintenance of hydrocarbon process and marine plant and equipment.
Previous FPSO experience.

Academic Achievements / Certifications
Recognized technical or academic qualification
VQ – Maintaining Plant and Equipment - Mechanical Systems – Level 3
VQ - OPITO Units – Emergency Response Training
Offshore Survival / Firefighting with HUET
Demonstrated Knowledge / Skills
Knowledge of the COMPANY Maintenance Philosophy, AMOS maintenance system, Safety Critical Elements (SCE's), and the Combined Written Scheme for Examination and Verification of SCE's.
Thorough knowledge of the PTW system and risk assessment procedures.
Knowledge of mechanical, instrument and electrical systems.
Thorough knowledge of gas turbine drivers.
Understanding of production and marine systems, including the principles of all hydrocarbon systems and their safety critical interfaces and dependencies.
