Facilities Supervisor needed for a full-time opportunity in New Orleans, LA. The ideal match for this position will have 10 years experience in overseeing and assisting with day to day operations of an offshore production facility, reporting, planning, scheduling, implementing of safety procedures and providing leadership and training for operations personnel. Responsibilities include, supervising production operations personnel, technicians and contractors including but not limited to personnel, safety, environmental and regulatory compliance, and record keeping required by company, USCG, MMS and EPA, generating and reviewing production, operation and maintenance reports and schedules to ensure that timely and effective actions are taken to solve problems, liaise with project managers and engineers to optimize oil and gas production utilizing available well and process data and to resolve technical issues and changes in project deliverables, communicating daily operations needs effectively to project supervisors (written and verbal), developing work plans, supply and procurement forecasts, establishing and monitoring goals for production, maintenance and safety, ensuring all safety procedures are established and implemented at the worksite, participating in all safety training and assisting in safety procedures such as basic first aid, CPR, fire drills and marine emergency evacuations, overseeing and assisting in daily activities such as monitoring process flow and well data, maintaining chemical programs, collecting fluid samples and shakeouts, and performing regulatory inspections and conducting safety meetings. Qualifications include water survival and fire fighting, T-2, first aid, CPR, HAZWOPER, and crane operations. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
