Hays Oil & Gas currently has a permanent staff role available with a globally recognised engineering and management consultancy. Our client employs over 2,000 staff in 59 offices worldwide and specialises in providing high end business support services in project management, project controls, contract management, cost control and management consulting. It has a solid reputation across all industry sectors and a major focus of ongoing investment and development for the company is its already flourishing energy business. Due to new project awards and ongoing investment in its global energy business, our client is looking to recruit a Senior Cost Estimator with offshore oil and gas experience to join the team in Perth. To be successful, you must be educated to tertiary level and able to demonstrate strong experience in a senior capacity on major oil and gas projects. Ideally, you will have the ability to positively influence projects in both FEED and detail design phases and will be able to act as client focal point at senior level negotiations.
The nature of our clients business means that you must have exceptional communication skills and the ability to self-manage. As part of a senior level consulting team, you will also be required to have input into the development and training of less experienced cost estimators.
