We currently seek a high calibre Quantity Surveyor for a long term assignment in Japan. Our client is a major Engineering Contractor, serving the Oil & Gas/ Petrochemical industries amongst others.
ROLE/ RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review the contract document of the subcontractors assigned
- Review the correspondence of the subcontractors assigned
- Attend the necessary meeting with the subcontractors assigned
- If requested, prepare the MOM for the meeting
- Provide contractual consultation for the assigned engineer of the subcontractors
- Prepare a draft of the contractual letters with engineer
- Log sheet control for administration of contractual documents
SELECTION CRITERIA
- 10 years+ EPC Contrator experience within O&G/ Petrochem industry.
PACKAGE
-Salary (inclusive of overtime)
-Per diem/ meal allowance
-Accommodation provided
- Residential role, though two weeks home leave permitted every 6 months.
- Travel costs, income tax, social tax, flights medical and accident insurance all covered by employer.
