Specialising in pump technology we have been established since 1977 – we have a network of branches and subsidiaries throughout Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and China.
We provide pumps for applications requiring municipal & plumbing works, sewerage treatment, waste water disposal, air conditioning, petroleum and oil & gas industries as well as covering general industrial pumping applications such as chemical transfer. Our pumps range from centrifugal, reciprocating, high pressure and vacuum type pumps.
Our business is fast growing and we are seeking an energetic and self-motivated individual for the following position at our Malaysia operations based in Shah Alam, Selangor.
Mechanical Engineer
(Selangor - Shah Alam)
Responsibilities:
* To provide support to Sales Department on quotations, proposals, pump sizing and compiling data sheets.
* To prepare and compile documents for submission and final document submission.
* To attend meetings and technical bid exercise (TBE) or technical clarification.
* To attend site inspection and Factory Acceptance Test when required.
* To provide technical support to the customer.
Requirements:
* Able to work in a team and independently with minimum supervision at the same time
* Able to perform under pressure in a fast paced environment.
* At least 2-3 years knowledge in centrifugal pumps under API610 / 685 or ANSI B73.1 specification.
* PC literate with good knowledge in MS Office.
* Proficient in both spoken & written English and Malay.
* Possess min. Cert/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Those with relevant working experience in the Oil & Gas Industry are encouraged to apply.
