Karratha and Perth based opportunities currently exist for Senior Mechanical Engineers to work with the industry's best. You will play a key role in providing technical and engineering input and support to achieve safe, efficient and optimum operation. You will be in the front line of providing input to, and overseeing, the reactive and preventative maintenance programs.
Key accountabilities of the position include;
* Manage the integrity of the facility through maintenance, inspection and engineering change control.
* Supporting both rotating and static equipment, including piping systems
* Provide input to/and oversee the reactive and preventative maintenance programs to ensure maximum facility uptime.
* Ensure appropriate advice is given and that standards, procedures and specifications are complied with.
* Direct input to opportunity management, reliability and continuous improvement of existing systems that will also involve interfacing with project groups.
To be successful in this position it is envisaged you will have;
* Tertiary Qualification in Mechanical engineering with previous experience in a similar role.
* Demonstrated experience at a technical engineering level within the oil and gas or related industry.
* Leadership and teamwork ability to work in the Woodside integrated organization
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to converse with individuals at all levels within the organisation.
* Ability to demonstrate strong business focus, flexibility and a committed attitude to safety.
