Location: Saudi Arabia POSITION DESCRIPTION: Diversified experience in all aspects of well completions and gas well servicing. Must have a thorough knowledge of completion design, coiled tubing, workover operations, electric and slick line operations and well control. Experience in deep, high pressure, corrosive gas wells, acid and proppant fracturing, sand control, and horizontal and multi-lateral completion is essential.
SELECTION CRITERIA: Provide on-site operational supervision for operations including well completion, workovers, hydraulic fracturing, matrix stimulation, coiled tubing, well testing, perforating and logging. Coordinate activities of Aramco personnel and other contractors during the execution of well completion and stimulation programs on deep high pressure gas wells.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: High school graduate. 13 years experience in oil field, wireline or field services operations with at least 3 years in a supervising position. Excellent command of oral and written English. Thorough knowledge of all well and GOSP locations in assigned oil fields, hazards involved and safety precautions to be taken. Possess valid Saudi driver's license for light vehicle. Proficiency in PLC based equipment associated with well services activities.
COMMENTS: SAPSD needs two experience Well Services Foremen to operate additional Gas Well Completion Site which needs three foremen to run the sites for 24 hours. The additional site is expected to start by 2009 and it is required to accomplish the additional future requirements. Southern Area Production Services Department is responsible for maintaining 4500 oil, gas and water wells in SA Oil Operations. The department is also responsible for data gathering for Reservoir Management and maintaining production levels by conducting well remedial activities. SA Oil Operations produce 60% of Saudi Aramco's oil, injects almost 10 MM barrels of water per day to maintain reservoir pressure support and produces 85% of Saudi Armco's gas production.
