Electrical Engineer (Offshore)

POSITION DESCRIPTION: Emphasis on coordinating all Project Management activities related to engineering, procurement and installation of offshore facilities including platforms, submarine cables, pipeline and other structural facilities. Preparation of Scope of Work on the basis of Proponents requirements, site visits and standards. Preparation and review of detailed design scope of work, manhours estimate and schedules for assigned projects. Ability to use electrical design computer programs. Familiar with Industry Codes and Standards for Offshore Engineering and Electrical Design Practices. Interfaces with the Proponent Representatives, Saudi Aramco support organizations, and Contractors as required including attending FAT at vendor locations. Performs a variety of assignments such as initiating reports, correspondence related to assigned project, assembling data and conducting studies related to project development.

SELECTION CRITERIA: EDUCATION: B.S. in Engineering. EXPERIENCE: Nine (9) years, preferably in the oil industry or similar process industry. A minimum of nine years of SCADA/ COMMUNICATION experience in the field of electrical engineering design and/or project management. Must have a thorough knowledge of engineering practices and economic principles, calculation methods, design details, U.S.
