Seismic Processing Geophysicist needed for a full-time opportunity in Houston, Texas. The ideal match for this position will have master's degree, a minimum of five years experience in processing, specifically in time and/or depth processing, and proficiency with UNIX and/or Linux software and systems. Responsibilities include all phases of 2D and 3D projects including generation of processing flows, parameter selection and velocity interpretation, interfacing with clients regarding project status and quality control, performing parameter testing and evaluation for all pre-processing and imaging steps, executing and/or overseeing production and QC, generating water bottom surface from near trace cube, generating de-bubble and zero phasing operators, testing and parameterizing SRME processing flow for multiple removal, evaluating frequency spectrums to develop time variant filter values and FK spectrums to remove residual noise from seismic sections, evaluating FXY Decon parameters to improve signal continuity, and testing scaling techniques to improve signal balancing.
