Sr. Estimator International
Purpose
Responsible for development and support of various estimates and, in particular, the interdepartmental interfaces and overall planning and coordination effort necessary to produce complete and comprehensive cost estimates.
Essential Functions
Prepare cost estimates for management and engineering services, equipment and material costs, construction costs, operating costs, and other costs associated with oil and gas industry projects.
Develop as required and maintain cost estimating tools including databases, spreadsheets, and other computer-based applications.
Continuing professional development to remain current with industry practices.
Maintain lines of communications between company departments, project manager and client with regard to cost estimating activities.
Experience
5+ years of experience with an emphasis on oil and gas industry projects.
Capability with and knowledge of industry standard computer programs applicable to cost estimating and general business functions.
Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Field experience in the construction of pipelines, compressor and pump stations, production facilities, measurement stations, and other upstream oil and gas facilities is desirable.
Education
Bachelor of Science degree preferred or commensurate experience.
