THE ROLE
CCL has been requested by a major international oil & gas company to provide a Subsea Lead Installation Engineer to be based in the Houston area. Permanent position. Attractive terms of employment. This vacancy is being handled by our Houston office.
THE PERSON
Minimum 2 years of experience as an installation engineer. Experience in offshore operations with practical experience in pipe / umbilical installation and survey activities, preferably within Oil & Gas. Successful candidate will be client representative onboard third party vessels, reporting to client OCM and assisting with day-to-day operations. Work with and oversees offshore & project construction requirements including survey work, pre-lay surveys, jumper installation, subsea asset installation and vessel mobilizations / demobilizations. Liaise and work with project managers, project engineers, vessel personnel, port agents and subcontractors to ensure all operations are carried out in a safe, cost and time effective manner.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Ideal candidate will possess a BS degree in an engineering discipline. Strong management and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including fluent written and spoken English, essential. Must be eligible to reside and work in the USA.
