Urgently Required:

Job Title: Field Trainer – Electrical

Description:
Job Role

• To be line responsible to Department Managers and functionally responsible to the Training Coordinator for the effective implementation of workplace learning in Ras Laffan facilities.
• To provide ‘on-job’ training, coaching and development activities conducted within departments and/or operational areas.
• To co-ordinate and execute training and development activities in conjunction with the line department and other T&D staff.
• To implement and maintain the policy, practice and procedures associated with workplace learning.

Disciplines
• Electrical (or mixed Electrical & Instrumentation background) – one

Education
• Degree in relevant technical discipline or an equivalent (HND should be the minimum level of education)

Specializations
• Knowledge of and experience in implementing workplace-based learning in the oil and gas industry

Experience
• 10 years operational experience of the oil and gas industry, of which 2 to 3 years working in a training and development role would be essential. Significant previous Middle East experience is highly-desirable

Technical Skills
• Mastery of relevant technical discipline in its application to the oil and gas industry

Managerial Skills
• Effective supervision of groups of pre-service and junior staff under development in hazardous work areas.

Job Title: Offshore Inspection Engineer

Description
• Responsibilities will be to monitor inspection work carried on port terminal facilities, offshore platforms and sub sea pipeline

Requirements
• B. Sc. degree in Mechanical engineering or similar plus 10-12 years experience in maintenance inspection activities in offshore operations environment
• This is projected to be 2 (two) years assignment on yearly renewable day rate contract

Description
• We have a forthcoming vacancy for Technical Author in Maintenance & Inspection Department (Plant Operations).

Job Profile
• To write, review and update all plant Maintenance & Inspection related technical documentation (standard operating procedures, manuals. Etc). To ensure accuracy, consistency and quality of the contents and format of all documentation related to onshore and offshore maintenance operations.
• Additional info regarding education and experience required will be supplied shortly, but we are looking preferably for people with engineering degree and relevant experience in gas plant/refinery/LNG maintenance activities during commissioning, start up, interim and normal plant operations.
