We are looking for a SENIOR INTERNAL AUDITOR/ INTERNAL AUDITOR

Qatargas Operating Company has exciting opportunities available for qualified professionals to join our company in the development of the vast North Field in Qatar. Qatargas currently has under development over $20 billion worth of major projects, including the construction of four new Liquefied Natural Gas trains for the production and export of LNG to every corner of the globe.

Plans and conducts audit assignments to determine effectiveness of internal controls and the reliability of operation. Assesses business and operational risks and makes proactive recommendations to mitigate the risks. Experience in plant operation, refinery, joint venture, production allocation, royalty and marketing of product would be an asset. The successful candidate should have a BS or P. Eng; BSc. Degree in Accounting or Business Administration or Marketing with Professional designation of CIA a CISA. Ten (10) years of experience gained in international Oil & Gas organization including at least 5 years in professional auditing experience. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English is a must, knowledge of Arabic, French is additional asset.

Interpersonal skills and business acumen is a must. Working knowledge of Auditing Software’s such as ACL and working in a SAP environment is a definite asset.
