OFFSHORE OIL & GAS COMPANY SEEKS - TALENTED ENGINEERS FOR MAJOR EXPANSION PROGRAM
A major Abu Dhabi Offshore Upstream Oil & Gas Operating Company is entering a phase of considerable growth leading to a substantial increase to its oil production. A number of new major project developments is underway, as well as a program to sustain production from existing facilities. This expansion creates a number of exciting opportunities becoming available in the following areas:
ENGINEERING
Vacancies exist for Discipline Engineers in Process, Mechanical, Control, Electrical, Civil & Structural and Subsea pipelines. In Process and Civil & Structural, Team Leaders are also required. In addition, Specialists are sought in Commissioning, Construction, Marine, Maintenance Engineering, Integrity, Quality Assurance, Fabrication and Metallurgy.
PROJECT EXECUTION
Opportunities exist for Project Managers / Leaders, Project Engineers, Project Engineering Managers / Leaders & Quality Assurance Engineers to join project management teams on a variety of important and exciting major offshore projects.
PROJECT SUPPORT SERVICES
There are a number of vacancies for Project Controls, Contracts, Process & Procedures & Planning Engineers to join the core Project Support function.
DRILLING OPERATION / ENGINEERING
There are a number of vacancies for Drilling Operations Team Leader, Drilling Engineering (Completion & Work Over) Section Leader, Drilling Operations Section Leader, Drilling Engineer (Contracts), Drilling Engineer (Development Planning), Mud Engineer (Quality & Studies), Cement Engineer (Quality & Studies), Mud Engineer, Well Engineer & Drilling Supervisor.
For all positions, applicants should be degree qualified, possess at least 10-12 years relevant oil & gas experience (preferably offshore), be fluent in written and spoken English and possess excellent interpersonal skills. For the manager and team leader positions, 15 - 20 years experience is expected with 5 years in a leadership role, and a track record in successful delivery and completion of projects. All these positions offer exciting opportunities for personal and professional development across the entire project cycle from inception through project execution and into operations. They are primarily based in Abu Dhabi, although some positions may necessitate working for periods in project teams and in international locations.
