Description: Job Description Successful candidate will be able to operate approximately 30 wells in a 6 square mile contiguous area. Wells range from free flowing gas wells to artificial lift wells on gas lift, intermitter, plunger lift and rod pump. Field includes 3 main compression stations, 2 SWD stations, 3 large tank batteries and 9 small tank batteries. It also includes a saltwater gathering system, low pressure gas gathering system and high pressure gas lift and sales distribution system. Oil is trucked from the field, gas is sold at one sales point and water is disposed of at two in-field sites in 3 wells. Fluid measurement consists of daily tank gauges. Gas measurement is via two pen recorders on both injection and return gas. Most wells flow individually through a separator where oil, water and gas are separated to their final disposition. Compression is leased and SWD pumps are also leased. Gas lift gas is partially dehydrated with three glycol dehydrators. Critical Success Factors ? Detail-oriented approach to well operations including focus on accurate reporting, testing and monitoring of critical well performance. ? Ability to complete minor maintenance and repairs on Barton 2-pen recorders and simplex meter fittings. ? Ability to accurately read gas measurement charts and to accurately gauge production tanks, including color cutting to verify oil volumes. ? Ability to tune and troubleshoot Kimray control devices (level controls, level control valves, pressure controls, pressure control valves and back pressure regulators). ? Honest, conscientious worker who is self starter and can be trusted to work efficiently without daily oversight. ? Safety and Environmentally conscious approach to daily work routine. ? Familiarity with various oilfield chemical treatment programs including scale, corrosion and surfactant applications. ? Ability to troubleshoot wells that are not performing as expected – accurate assessment of pressures, rates, fluid levels and cuts, etc. ? Cost conscious individual that expects value for money expended. ? Ability to adjust process conditions to field compression to optimize use of horsepower. Experience At least ten years of oil field operations and maintenance experience. Must have demonstrated experience in operating compression; flowing and artificially lifted wells, including gas lift; testing wells; accurate reporting; experience with Barton metering devices; experience with Kimray control devices; ability to manage contractors to realize value for fees paid Education Must have high school education, associates or B.S. degree a plus. Must be literate in MS Excel, communication via email and transmission of data via email/internet. Good spoken communication skills a must. Industry training in applicable subject matter a plus.
