Description:
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Acquisition & Divestitures (A&D), in addition to the responsibilities listed below, the successful incumbent will play an active role in any special projects, company integrations etc.
Key Responsibilities:
Research, prepare, and present information/data for the negotiators in a meaningful way, including:
Assembling and organizing input data for technical evaluations
Investigating and confirming well and facility interest and status using online and hard copy sources
Generating file lists and/or retrieving files for A&D Data rooms
Provide support to operations in their efforts by providing quick response time to queries and requests
Acting as the technical and business contact for the ANTTS application, you will:
Continuously seek out process improvements. Provide ongoing identification, documentation, business support and testing to identify bug fixes and enhancements to the ANTT's system. Challenge the status quo and implement efficiencies and cost saving initiatives
Create greater understanding of user requirements of ANTT's data and system
Maintain User Security - add roles and users delete inactive users
Contribute expertise to other departments at Talisman. Work with these groups in helping them understand ANTT's data and provide training as needed
Provide input regarding future build requirements by soliciting and analysing user feedback and ongoing issues logs
Assuming the A&D Closing Coordinator role in the Coordinator's absence or in peak load situations, you will:
Manage and direct the information flow amongst the Closing Team members and the outside party(s) to ensure that outstanding issues/questions are dealt with, and that deals proceed towards closing in a timely manner
Ensure deal documents are complete and properly executed
Attend Closing meetings with outside parties, as required
Update all ANTTS records regarding deal status and keep all internal parties informed of closing process issues
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years in a technical support role
Superior systems knowledge and experience
QBLM, EnVision, CWS, ValNav, Asset Book, Business Objects and Accumap experience are assets
Proficient with MS Office Suite with superior Excel skills
Well developed organizational and interpersonal skills
Ability to deal with numerous projects simultaneously
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Self-starter that requires limited direction
Flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances
